Having an in house dental technician and laboratory is a huge advantage. This allows the technician to be part of the dental team, making it possible for him to meet the patient, share the treatment planning procedures and tailor prostheses to very closely match and fit individual needs and expectations. Tooth shape and color in our practice is no longer a code on a piece of paper that we send out to the lab. We're different in the sense that we can do try-in rehearsals and make changes in tooth shape and color on the spot while the patient is present. Patients appreciate this a lot because they can express their wishes directly to the technician. An in-house dental lab also means that prostheses can be constructed in a day or two to meet the time restraints and expectations of our patients. It is very time efficient and we pride ourselves in rendering extremely life like results.
